At the second Schleswig Plebiscite on March 14, 1920 80% of the inhabitants of the southern Zone (Southern Schleswig) vote for remaining in Germany. Since the inhabitants of the Northern Zone (Northern Schleswig) already deciced in the first Schleswig Plebiscite that they wanted to belong to Denmark, Schleswig (a.k.a. Sønderjylland) gets officially divided into a Danish Northern part and a German Southern part. Til today, the area shares two languages. Both German and Danish are official languages on both sides of the border.
The “FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list gets published the first time on March 14, 1950.
