Let’s come to the “real” today 😉
November 19, 1923: Hyperinflation in Germany. 1 kg bread ( abt. 2.2 lbs) costs 233 BILLION Reichsmark!!
Did I hear anyone say “Financial Crisis”??
I want to use this blog to honor someone who I would not expect to be mentioned on a lot of family trees.
My 4th cousin 2x removed. The daughter of Friedrich Heinrich Karl Martin HAGEDORN and Getrude NÖCK.
She died on the day of her birth on November 19, 1931 in Boienhagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.
And she doesn’t have a name, since she died before she could receive the sacraments of baptism.
She was laid to rest in Diedrichshagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany on November 21, 1931.
I don’t know if there is an English word for it, but we call these children “Sternenkinder” (star children).
R.I.P. kleines Sternenkind ….
