November 15 – Today in my family tree

How could I ignore an historical event like the following one, being a huge fan 😉

November 15,  1956 “Love me tender” the first movie with Elvis Presley premieres in the United States.

And 3 years later, on November 15, 1959 four members of a farmer family are killed by Perry Smith and Dick Hickock. This tragedy was later the story of Truman Capote‘s “In Cold Blood“.

On my family tree I only have sad events today.

One is the death of Ernst Heinrich Karl Ferdinand PÜSTOW. He died as a fee farmer on November 15, 1907 in Upahl, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

He was born as the second son of Johann Joachim Friedrich PÜSTOW and Sophia Maria Franziska AHRENS on November 20, 1837 in Groß Eichsen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

On November 6, 1868 he married the farm hand’s daughter Engel Maria Elisabeth VIERECK in Diedrichshagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

On November 19, 1907 he got laid to rest on the cemetary of Diedrichshagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.

Their only daughter I’ve found so far is born on June 8, 1870 in Upahl.
